This evening we went to our last Auckland festival event. It was a classical concert called Fire – Wind – Water and was held in the town hall. All the pieces were performed by the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. We’ve never been to a concert where the percussionists are so much at the center of attention. [...]If you have never been to a cabaret, then you are missing out! This was one of the most exiting and unique experiences. We both had an awesome time. We especially liked Captain Frodo – The double jointed guy. The spiegel tent has hosted famous people like Marlene Dietrich (1930). It is a beautiful art deco [...]Today one year ago we arrived in New Zealand! To commemorate our leaving Europe we went to O,Sarracino, a superb italian resteraunt. We found the food and people really authentic which reminded us of our motorbike tour through Toscana. O,Sarracino I’ve just started my picture blog again and I’d love it if you visited sometime.
