This morning we went to the Towards the Precipice exhibition of WWII posters at the Auckland Museum.

Kelly Tarlton’s

This weekend we went to Kelly Tarlton’s. Kelly Tarlton’s is a cool aquarium with a tunnel that lets you walk right through the middle of it. Pretty awesome seeing big sharks and sting rays swimming right above you.

Kauaeranga Kauri Trail (The Pinnacles)

This weekend we walked the Kauaerange Kauri Trail (aka ‘The Pinnacles’). The start of the walk is pretty close to Auckland and we drove there really early.

Tongariro Crossing

This easter we made very last minute plans to do the Tongariro Crossing. We stayed at the Discovery Lodge which had these really cute little huts (see below) and also a really nice little resteraunt on-site.

Got up at sunrise to catch the minibus to take us to the start of the walk.
