This weekend we got to go to the Waiwera Thermal Spa using vouchers Imogen got from one of her friendly boss. Lots of sauna and steam bath relaxation…great until i did my neck in on the ‘gut buster’ (or was it the ‘deadly twist’) [...] First home grown food since we moved to our new [...] Went to the il Forno bakery in Ponsonby for the first time today after Imogen discovered it a while back. Really great sourdough baguette and other good breads. Great little cafe to have a relaxing cofe/snack on a [...] This year the RHE christmas party was on the The Daldy. It is a proper coal-fire powered steam tug which was first launched on 1st October 1935 and on 11th November 1935 it set passage from Glasgow to Auckland.
